ABOUT RAY WRIGHT

Ray Wright was born in 1979 in Washington, D.C., and raised in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. A standout athlete, he attended Riverdale Baptist High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, before playing baseball at Okaloosa-Walton Community College from 1998 to 1999. He continued his baseball career at Louisiana State University, contributing to their National Championship victory in 2000. The loss of his brother in 2002 led Ray to a profound spiritual awakening, embracing Jesus Christ and dedicating his life to faith. Since then, he has grown in his Christian walk, passionate about guiding other men to live out their masculinity in alignment with Christ’s teachings.
In 2008, Ray began his career in NASCAR, serving as a pit crew member until 2017. He now manages the pit stop department for Richard Childress Racing, bringing leadership and expertise to the team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he resides with his wife, whom he married in 2006, and their four children—two boys and two girls. An avid athlete, Ray enjoys amateur strongman competitions and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, embodying the strength and discipline he encourages in others through his faith and mentorship.
